Terms of Service

Effective 2026-10-31. These terms govern use of U3com Sharer ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

U3com Sharer provides file and image hosting, text/code pastes, link shortening, and related viewer pages. Some features require an account; guest uploads are permitted with reduced limits and an anti-bot challenge.

2. Acceptable use

You may not upload, link to, or distribute content that:

  • is illegal in any applicable jurisdiction;
  • infringes copyright, trademark, or other IP rights;
  • depicts or facilitates exploitation of minors — we report such material to NCMEC;
  • contains malware, phishing pages, credential-harvesting, or deceptive redirects;
  • exposes others' private data without consent (doxxing, leaked credentials);
  • is intended to spam, evade rate limits, scrape, or abuse the Service or its ads.

We may remove content, throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and may preserve and disclose evidence to authorities where legally required.

3. Your content & license

You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to store, copy, transform (thumbnails, transcoding, metadata stripping), and transmit it as needed to operate the Service. You represent you have the rights to upload what you upload.

4. Retention, expiration & deletion

  • Content may expire per your plan's retention or an expiration you set; expired and deleted items stop serving publicly.
  • Deletion removes public access immediately; stored bytes are purged from storage nodes asynchronously — copies may persist briefly during that purge and in scheduled backups.
  • "Burn after read" items are permanently destroyed once viewed.

5. Accounts & API

  • Keep credentials and API tokens secret; actions taken with them are yours.
  • API access requires a token; guests may not use the API. Respect rate limits and token scopes.
  • You may delete your account at any time; associated content is removed per §4.

6. Advertising

Public viewer, download, and album pages may display advertising — network ads, direct-sold campaigns, or house promotions. Content that is password-protected, quarantined, owned by ad-free plans, or marked ineligible never displays ads. Advertiser campaigns and creatives go live only after staff review; paying for a campaign does not guarantee approval.

7. Reports & takedown

To report abuse, infringement, or unlawful content use the report form. Include the item URL and enough detail to act. We review reports and may quarantine or remove content at our discretion.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for lost content, downtime, indirect or consequential damages; aggregate liability is limited to amounts you paid us in the prior 12 months (or zero for free usage). Keep your own copies of anything important.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced on the site. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
